one hour, two minutes

until I turn seventeen.
Technically ten hours, 14 minutes, or now 13 (real time woo), but hm.
How odd. At the age of five, I thought by seventeen-years-old I'd be something....
accomplished? Maybe I'm not a purple power ranger, or a singing sensation, but I have to have become something right? I'm not sure what though. The end of my junior year is basically here and I feel so inept, so not ready to enter the last stage of my teenage years.
There's so many things besides 'wordly' accomplishments th
at I still have not measured up to or become yet.
How long can immaturity be an excuse? Or immature excuses for that matter?

But all pessimistic ranting aside, SEVENTEEEEEN.

The age of driving (for me at least, in December-- ha ha ha), R-rated tickets (when I get my license, again, in December-- ha ha ha), Senior year and a lot of other things probably. One thing I don't like though is how there's songs like "Sixteen going onto Seventeen", or "A little Less than Sixteen Candles" and "on the edge of Seventeen", but there aren't that many for after seventeen.
Well, here we go !

I can say that at seventeen I no longer look like a boy or have cross eyes.
